These stained glass lotus pond panels were designed for entry door inserts. My customer Mr. K. had seen a "lotus pond theme" pair of entry doors that he really liked. After speaking with him about the theme, colors, and getting feedback on what he wanted to see, I presented him with a couple of alternative drawings to the picture he sent me. 
The dragonfly was added per his request. Mr K. then requested the koi to be added the the other window panel.
