Stained Glass Peacock Entry Doors

Our client requested privacy and it was achieved by using an obscure gluechip glass for the background. These stained glass entry doors are also triple glazed (3/4" ~ 1" thick) with tempered clear glass for safety.

Beveled Glass Sidelights Over Textured glass

I was comissioned to fabricate a pair of beveled sidelights with a design that would complement the front security door design. The glass in the sidelights is a very obscure flemish textured glass (see below). The homeowner did not want to remove this glass and asked us to surface mount the beveled glass panel.

I recommended that textured glass be replaced with clear glass to ensure the details of the beveled glass show best on both sides. I then took a small sample beveled panel I had and placed it over the textured glass to show my client the effect it would have. She was certain she wanted to keep the textured glass for privacy and surface mount the beveled glass.

The outcome was great!!! The beveled glass shows quite nicely in the interior of the home. The outline of the lead lines is very much visible on the exterior also.

Stained Glass Huckleberry Dachshund

Fred comissioned me to make a stained glass panel for his daughter as a surprise birthday gift. She has a small transom above her door which measures 9" x 26". Her Daschund Huckleberry was the subject of this window panel. Fred wanted to capture his personality with one of his many faces and I think we did just that.

Stained Glass Koi Pond and Lotus Door Inserts

These stained glass lotus pond panels were designed for entry door inserts. My customer Mr. K. had seen a "lotus pond theme" pair of entry doors that he really liked. After speaking with him about the theme, colors, and getting feedback on what he wanted to see, I presented him with a couple of alternative drawings to the picture he sent me. The dragonfly was added per his request. Mr K. then requested the koi to be added the the other window panel. Thank you for the pictures Mr. K.

Beveled Glass Door Windows

My customer requested a simple bevel design for his farmhouse style home. The idea was to have a center elongated bevel cluster. Nothing too intricate. I proposed a few designs drawn to the actual scale of the window. This design was drafted and approve by the designer after a modification in the width of the bevels. There are 4 cabinets top and bottom that also needed glass inserts to match these beveled door windows. The beveled glass panel below is shown with natural sunlight behind it.The outer chord glass border was eliminated and the texture chosen was a tighter hammered pattern for the cabinets.

Iridescent Stained Glass Sidelight Windows

Using Iridescent Stained Glass is a great way to add a subtle hint of color to window panels and accentuate a center design or use instead of bevel clusters.

These pictures were taken at an angle and I was able to capture the many colors that this beautiful glass reflects in the light.

This homeowner asked me to replicate the design of his iron gate for his two stained glass sidelight windows. I added a clear bevel border to frame the design and four bevel rectangles to tie it all together.

Stained Glass Wisteria Window

I was contacted by Mrs. Mitchell to design and fabricate a staircase window. We didn't have a clear idea of the design that would be used. After speaking to the Mitchells, the idea of wisteria vines was brought up and we went from there. The color palette was chosen to match colors the existing wallpaper in the kitchen which they both really liked and wanted to use as the primary colors.

I presented the Mitchells with the initial drawing and was delighted when they notified me they wanted to add sidelights to their front door to match the Wisteria & Camelia window. These windows were all surface mounted with bead moldings and fabricated using the copperfoil method.

I deeply regret not have taken good pictures! These windows are trully beautiful in person.
